Thieves work with radio signals and the car’s digital buses. SocketCar has no radio channel: the system can’t be controlled without physical contact, and the circuits stay physically open until the key is in the socket.

The parking ritual
The key-connector closes the electrical circuits, and the car runs as usual. Without it the circuits are open, and the car won’t move under its own power.
